Microsoft, Program Manager

2009 to present

  • (2011) Coordinate with Windows Server teams to deliver a major new feature in Windows 8; identify, design and implement command line tools to be shipped in Windows 8.
  • (2010, Intern) Performed technical and market analysis and wrote specifications for a new feature for Windows 8.
  • (2009, Intern) Developed a specification for a new word wrapping algorithm for Office 15. Led feature analytics efforts by leveraging OLAP via SQL Server. Interacted with strategic end users of the Office 14 beta program.

Roessner & Co., Web Architect

2005 to present

As a contractor for Roessner & Co., I provided web design direction and implementation for web sites, streaming media applications, and other online initiatives for high-profile clients such as Becton Dickinson and BCN Telecom. Sites implemented include Middlesex Water, Roessner & Co's own web site, and online versions of annual reports designed by Roessner & Co.

The Walsh Company, LLC., Contractor

2007 to present

Manage and support corporate network (Exchange, Windows Server, Active Directory). Developed business applications in C#. In August 2010, led companywide upgrade of over 50 machines and 3 servers to Windows 7/Server 2008 R2, Exchange 2010, and Office 2010.

PlayersTape, LLC., Software Engineer/Web Developer

2006-2007

Startup in partnership with a former CEO of a Fortune 500 company. I designed and implemented the company's web presence including the web site and an online system for designing and ordering customized athletic tape. The company was acquired in 2007.
